NEW WATERWAY SERVICE FROM DUNKIRK

Service Fluvia RC

Starting on 18 May 2011, RSC (River Shuttle Containers) will offer a weekly waterway service between Dunkirk and Dourges, on fixed days.


The service will be operated in partnership with  CONTARGO. It will line up perfectly with CMA CGM's FAL 3 (Asia-Europe) service, which calls at Dunkerque-Port's container terminal every Tuesday.

At import, the service will offer loading at Dunkirk on Wednesdays, arriving at Dourges on Thursday mornings.

At export, it will offer departures on Fridays, returning to Dunkirk on Tuesdays.

The Prouvy terminal near Valenciennes will soon be included in the rotation, with an arrival and a departure from Prouvy every Thursday.
This new waterway service, which is open to all marine operators, is in addition to the existing services offered since August 2008 by MARFRET FLUVIO FEEDER between Dunkirk and Lille and between Dunkirk and Antwerp.
