ERWAN LE BRIS, AGED 41, JOINS DUNKERQUE-PORT AS HEAD OF "DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENT" DIVISION

After graduating from the Higher Institute of Technology in 1998 and the National Highway Engineering School (Civil Engineering section) in 2001, and completing a PhD in materials science in 2003, Erwan Le Bris began his career as a head of department in two highway engineering positions:

• the Highway Engineering Division of the Loire Atlantique Department of Public Works (2003 to 2006).
• the Engineering and Structures Division of the Western Region Highways Department (2007 to 2008).
  

He then worked at the SETEC design office in Paris where, between 2008 and 2014, he was in charge of steering the project management and assistance to the contracting authority for several projects on buildings, structures and public works. In particular, in 2013 he was in charge of the detailed design studies for the Third Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul, Turkey.

Before joining Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque, from 2014 to 2016 he was Assistant Technical and Engineering Director for Highways at the Nord Region Highways Division.

As head of the "Development and Environment" Division of Dunkerque-Port, Erwan Le Bris will be responsible for the scheduling, design and steering of the Port's development works, for relations with external partners, for implementing the environmental policy and for the management of industrial risks.
