    In the middle of 2018, Dunkerque-Port undertook the creation of a secure parking lot located inside the cross-Channel terminal.

    It is just one of the systems implemented in conjunction with the British authorities to secure the facilities of the cross-Channel terminal in Dunkerque and offer parking space for heavy goods vehicles.

    The Norlink Ports afterwork organized on 27 September 2018 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Lille took place 1 year to the day after the symposium organized at the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIR). The annual meeting, backed by the Prefect of Hauts-de-France and the President of the Regional Council, allows the 10 founding members of the Association to shed light on the various actions undertaken over the past year but also face-to-face exchanges with all the transport stakeholders in the main focus groups to be opened in the field of transport and logistics in the Hauts-de-France Region.

    CONTAINER SHIPPERS IN THE HAUTS-DE-FRANCE REGION OPT FOR WATERWAY TRANSPORT AT DUNKIRK

    After starting a new waterway container service between Dunkirk and Valenciennes in May this year, NORD PORTS SHUTTLE (NPS) is gearing up for a significant increase in its transport capacity on the Dunkirk to Dourges line. This initiative is a response to fast-growing demand: in June NPS again beat a monthly record for traffic to and from Dunkirk, with nearly 2,800 TEU.
