24th february 2016Gérard Mulliez, founder of the Auchan superstore chain, visited the Port of Dunkirk yesterday where he met Rodolphe Saadé, Vice-President of the CMA CGM Group, on board one of the world's largest container carriers, the CMA CGM Vasco de Gama. The Region's President Xavier Bertrand and Patrice Vergriete, President of Dunkirk Urban Community and Mayor of Dunkirk, were also present at this meeting.

ECOPHOS SETS UP ON ICD INDUSTRIAL PLATFORM IN MARDYCK (DUNKIRK), DISTRICT OF GRAND PORT MARITIME DE DUNKERQUE
11th february 2016After considering several sites on the North Sea coast, in October 2014 the Belgian industrial group ECOPHOS*, a supplier of technology and producer of food-grade phosphate, decided to build its new production plant on the ICD* industrial platform in Mardyck, near Dunkirk.

9th february 2016The new facilities for arrival, check-in and control of vehicles travelling with DFDS between Dunkirk and Dover came into service during the night of Saturday 16 to Sunday 17 January.
