    ECOCEM France is to set up a plant for the production of environmentally-friendly cement from blast-furnace slag in Dunkirk, six years after commissioning the same type of installation at Fos-sur-mer.

    After the historic records of the previous grain campaigns in 2013-2014 (2.4 Mt) and 2014-2015 (3.09 Mt), the Port of Dunkirk has seen the advantages offered by its operator and infrastructures confirmed with record traffic of 3.226 Mt for the 2015-2016 campaign.

    YVES LALAUT, PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT DIRECTOR OF DUNKERQUE-PORT, HAS DIED

    The Board of Trustees, the Development Board, the Executive Committee and all the staff of Dunkerque-Port were shocked and saddened, on Friday 8 July, to learn of the sudden death of Yves Lalaut, Planning and Environment Director since December 2012 and a member of the Executive Committee.
