The Port of Dunkirk has a Vessel Traffic System (VTS).

Ships passing through the VTS coverage area are required to use this service.
Monitoring of "Dunkerque VTS" / VHF Channel 73 is compulsory inside this area.

ISPS notice to be submitted before entering the port.

This document (Ship's waste & ISPS notice of pre arrival) must be sent to the Harbour Master's Office 24 hours before arrival in Dunkirk, or no later than at departure from the preceding port if less than 24 hours away from Dunkirk.
