On Wednesday, March 4, the Port of Dunkirk, together with the companies BARRA SNM (logistics), LEMAIRE (shipping agency) and AUGIZEAU (exceptional transport), welcomed to Freycinet 12 the EEMS DUBLIN, a ship transporting a first batch of nine wind turbine blades, each measuring almost 70 meters in length.

The ship is set to deliver an additional nine blades which will be stored at the Port of Dunkirk before they are deployed to a wind farm in Northern France.

The arrival of the constructor at the port represents an important step for the Port of Dunkirk, demonstrating its great desire to become a leading hub for the wind power industry, both on land and at sea, thanks to its necessary infrastructure and know-how.
