YVES LALAUT, NEW PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT DIRECTOR

56-year-old Yves Lalaut, a Government Public Works Divisional Engineer and PhD in Sedimentology, was appointed as Planning and Environment Director of Dunkerque-Port on 1 December 2012.


He takes over from Stéphane Raison who becomes the new head of Grand Port Maritime de La Réunion, a position filled on a temporary basis since April 2012 by the present Deputy Planning and Environment Director Xavier Dairaine. Since June 2010 Yves Lalaut has been Deputy Regional Director of the Nord-Pas de Calais Regional Department for the Environment, Development and Housing (DREAL). Before that, from 2007 to 2010, he was Ports Director for the Nord-Pas de Calais Region. At Dunkerque-Port he will lead a team of 40 people in five departments, and work transversely with the Port’s other divisions on all aspects of planning and the environment, the Port’s rail network and major projects.
