Dunkerque-Port, the Cité des Entreprises ("Business City"), the Nord-Pas de Calais Logistics and Transport Club and the Regional Customs Departments of Lille and Dunkirk signed an agreement on 25 June in the presence of the Interregional Customs Director and the President of the Maritime and Commercial Union of Dunkirk.
This week Martine Bonny, Chair of Dunkerque-Port's Executive Committee, and the Port's Commercial Director Daniel Deschodt, accompanied a large delegation of decision-makers from the Nord-Pas de Calais Region in an economic mission to Shanghai.

Aware of the importance of the Clipon site for the observation of animal and plant species, Dunkerque-Port, represented by Martine Bonny, Chair of the Executive Committee, and Dunkerque LNG, represented by its General Director Marc Girard, signed an agreement on 4 June 2010, in the presence of Dunkirk's Sub-Prefect Jérôme Gutton, allowing five associations permanent access to the LNG Terminal site.
Since mid-February the Cypriot company Delta Shipping Lines has been running a weekly container service between Dunkirk and St Petersburg with the following rotation: Tilbury – Dunkirk – Hamburg – St Petersburg.
